you parents
your friends
your leaders
your peers
the news lady
the weatherman
the horror movie hero
or have you been told how to percieve

who is influencing your actions
the politicians who act from shallow scripts
the prophets who elect themselves
the priests who may or may not be nice
the hollywood hunk, whose movie just sunk
the singer wrapping violence around your ear drum
the word terrorism and terrorist that is freely spoken
the tv ads that tell us how inadequate we are
the teacher we can go that far
the timid voice that was almost silenced within you
are your actions you
